Diana Gini was raised in Oradea, Romania and has lived abroad since 2005, in Boston, Vienna, and Dallas. In 2022, she relocated to Madrid with her husband and two young sons. Diana has a PhD in Music Psychology and an MA in Piano Interpretation. She opened her own music studio when they lived in Dallas.
Diana currently serves as the Global Romania Diaspora Director for the Romanian United Foundation (RUF). She is deeply committed to the mission and vision of RUF, which aims to strengthen the Romanian diaspora and forge lasting relationships. For Diana, this position also enriches her spirit, ensures her children maintain a strong Romanian identity, and aids in the development of her cherished homeland.
As director, Diana connects with remarkable Romanians across the globe, encouraging them to participate in their dynamic community. Through these interactions, they celebrate their rich heritage and establish a basis for a future where the Romanian diaspora actively contributes to the growth and prosperity of Romania. Diana finds great pride in her work, as each interaction and new member marks a step towards realizing their collective aspirations for Romania and its people, regardless of their location worldwide.
