Dr. Cosmin Dumitrescu is the Consul General of Romania in Torino, Italy. He has a PhD in economics from the University of Craiova, România. His educational focus included law, languages, economics and science. Dr. Dumitrescu authored scientific articles in disaster and emergency management and European energy security. Through expert diplomacy, Dr. Dumitrescu supports Romanians embracing their new country and those at home, aspiring to lead fruitful lives. Prior to the post in Torino, Dr. Dumitrescu was the Consul General of România in Los Angeles where he promoted cooperation within the US and Romania in politics, education, business, economics, science, research, IT, and trade.
